Spoločnosť NEC Electronics vydala 16 nových 16-bitových All Flash™ mikrokontrolérov s intogrovaným USB 2.0 rozhraním.
Ide o osem 48-pinových 78K0R/KC3-L MCU a osem 64-pinových 78K0R/KE3-L MCU.

• Minimum instruction execution time can be changed from high speed (0.05 µs: @ 20 MHz operation with highspeed system clock) to ultra low-speed (61 µs: @ 32.768 kHz operation with subsystem clock)
