Spoločnosť Future Technology Devices International, predstavila novú rodinu USB host/slave - Vinculum-II (VNC2).
VNC2 je dvojitý USB 2.0 SoC kontrolér, obsahujúci 16-bitový MCU s 256KB FLASH a 16KB RAM. Disponuje širokým spektrom komunikačných rozhraní: UART, SPI, FIFO, a PWM.

• Embedded 16-bit Harvard architecture MCU core, with 256KBytes of Flash memory and 16Kbytes RAM.
