Application Note Abstract
This application note explains two methods of demodulating a Frequency Modulation (FM) signal. One is the commonly used Slope Detection method, which is the conventional analog method. The second method uses a monostable multivibrator and is one of the best methods in terms of Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). A sample project implementing the FM demodulator using the monostable multivibrator is attached with this application note.
